Lanka Hydraulic Institute Ltd (LHI) was honoured with two prestigious awards at the 33rd NCE Export Awards 2025 Ceremony, held on 13th February 2026 at the Shangri-La Hotel Colombo. The institute received the "Best Value-Added Exporter Award" and the "Gold Award in the Business & Professional Services Export Sector", recognising its outstanding contribution and excellence in the export industry. Over its 41 years of dedicated service to the nation’s economy, LHI has steadily emerged as a leading force in the professional services export sector, establishing itself as a trusted and globally recognised exporting giant.

The NCE Annual Export Awards Ceremony is one of the most prestigious events in the national business calendar, recognising excellence not only in profitability, but also in people development, sustainability, innovation, and long-term impact. The spotlight was on Sri Lankan exporters who continue to push boundaries and proudly represent the country on the global stage. The event honoured and acknowledged Sri Lanka’s outstanding export performers for their achievements and excellence during the last financial year.

Speaking on the recent achievement, the Chief Executive Officer of Lanka Hydraulic Institute Ltd (LHI), Eng. Janaka Kurukulasuriya, stated that the two awards mark a proud milestone for the institute, recognising its dedication and growing contributions on the global stage. He also noted that these recognitions follow LHI’s recent achievement of being named "Best SME Exporter of the Year" at the 27th Presidential Export Awards Ceremony held last December—another significant milestone that reflects the institute’s growing global presence and sustained excellence in the export sector.
